Investor

The applicant must have over 2 years of business or management experience in the period beginning 5 years before the date of application and has accumulated assets of minimum CAD $800,000 that the investor has earned by himself/herself and has to invest CAD $400,000 in the investment program for a term of 5 years.

There are 2 investment programs
Program 1 - To invest CAD $400,000 in the investment program for a term of 5 years, and the investor will receive back CAD $400,000 at the end of the 5th years. In the event of the application rejected for one reason or other, the CAD $400,000 will be totally refunded to the investor.
Program 2 - To invest CAD $120,000 in the investment program for a term of 5 years, and the bank will invest CAD $280,000 on behalf of the investor in the investment program to have the total of CAD $400,000. At the end of the 5th years, the investor will lose the CAD $120,000 as interest and service charges. In the event of the application rejected for one reason or other, the CAD $120,000 will be totally refunded to the investor.

Note: English and French languages are not compulsory for Investor applicant.




Entrepreneur

The applicant has minimum 2 years of business or management experiences in the period beginning 5 years before the date of application. His permanent residence visa will be with condition that within two years of landing, he must establish or purchase a business in Canada. There is no fixed amount to invest, but it should be sufficient to establish a business for 2 years. The applicant also needs to prove his accumulated assets that he has earned by himself in the past. The required net worth are varies among provinces in Canada.

Note: English and French languages are not compulsory for Entrepreneur applicant.



Independent

Applicant is assessed according to his age, education, occupation, working experiences, English or French ability and personal suitability.

Note: English or French language is compulsory for Independent applicant.




Self-Employed Person

Applicant must be able to establish or buy a business in Canada, which will provide employment for himself and will make an economic or cultural contribution to Canada.

Note: English or French language is compulsory for Self-Employed applicant.
